Forward and LTX Studio present the Shortest AI Film Competition — an open call for the boldest, most creative AI-generated short films made with LTX Studio, the fastest AI film tool on the planet. No studio needed, just a strong idea and a laptop – everyone can join. Until 4 August, you'll compete for $10.000 IN PRIZES and you’ll unlock free access to LTX Studio, and will get your work showcased on the big screen at the Shortest AI Film Festival in Berlin! Submission Guidelines
Anyone can submit. From anywhere. During the competition, you’ll get free access to the latest version of LTX Studio. Script. Animate. Direct. Edit. All in one place.
Your clip should be:
– Created with LTX Studio
– Up to 60 seconds long
– Post-production/editing is allowed via XML export
– In any language (English subtitles required if not in English)
– File size limit: 1GB
– Final format: .mp4
– Team entries up to 3 people welcome – just name your collaborators.
– Submit your short via the LTX Studio Website
What we're looking for
A strong idea, a creative use of AI, and a short that leaves a lasting impression. Our jury of industry professionals will evaluate submissions based on:
– Creative Style
– Originality
– Storytelling or concept clarity (for non-narrative entries)
No copyright problems, please
Make sure you own or have the rights to everything in your film – including visuals, music, and AI-generated content. Please don’t use real actors, celebrities, or recognizable individuals unless you have their explicit permission. By submitting, you allow us to share and screen your work in the context of the Festival.
Submissions are open from now until 4 AUGUST 2025.
