MR. BINGO
ILLUSTRATION (UK) Mr. Bingo is an artist and former illustrator best known for his witty Hate Mail project and his shift from client work to independent art.
Before getting bored and deleting his entire portfolio and website, Mr. Bingo was a commercial illustrator. For years, working for clients such as The Guardian, TIME, CH4, The Mighty Boosh, The New York Times & many more.
In 2015 he launched a Kickstarter to fund a book about his Hate Mail project and decided to never work for clients ever again and focus on being some sort of artist which he’s done ever since.
If you are thinking of asking him to do a project, just keep in mind: He might draw your tattoo, but never your wedding invite!
