THOMAS ALBDORF
PHOTOGRAPHY (AUT) Thomas Albdorf is an Austrian artist and photographer whose work explores contemporary image-making across art, fashion, and commercial photography.
After working for several years as an Art Director, Thomas Albdorf studied Transmedia Art at the University of Applied Arts, Vienna, where he graduated in 2013. He was selected as an international “Artist to Watch” by the British Journal of Photography and won the UNSEEN Amsterdam Talent Award. He had institutional solo shows at FOAM Amsterdam in The Netherlands and Museum Folkwang in Germany, and his work has been exhibited throughout galleries in Europe, the United States and Asia. He has been featured / interviewed in magazines like FOAM Magazine, British Journal of Photography, The New Yorker, The New York Times, Vanity Fair, Wallstreet Journal, The Guardian and many more. Selected Clients include Adidas, Apple, Balenciaga, Bottega Venetta, Byredo, Calvin Klein, Coach, Diesel, Ganni, Givenchy, Glossier, Ikea, Issey Miyake, Loewe, Louis Vuitton, Nike, Paul Smith, Rapha, Samsung, Sandro, Sol De Janeiro, UberEats, Valentino, Vöslauer, and Zara.
