Gabriela Namie is a Brazilian-Japanese designer and art director based in New York. She is currently the Visual Lead at Google’s Seed Studio, where she balances hands-on design with creative direction, shaping the vision for multiple projects.
Previously, she co-founded Studio Barca in São Paulo, worked at Sagmeister & Walsh, and was YouTube Music's art director. In 2021, she was nominated a Young Gun by the Art Directors Club. She has spoken at Typographics in New York and the Latin American Design Festival in Peru. Passionate about craft, process, and well-being, she integrates these values into her work.
