Catherine Spet & Total View won the Open Call by the Vienna Business Agency x Forward Festival and will present their project at the Forward Festival Berlin (28. - 29. of August) & Vienna (2.- 3. of October).
Catherine Spet (*1998) is an Austrian interdisciplinary artist.
Her work centers on combining media-theoretical and techno- philosophical ideas to explore societal issues, with a particular interest in artificial intelligence, the metaverse and game art. With Kultur 1, she explores ways of embedding art into everyday life – accessible, visible, and in dialogue with the city.
The media art and research collective Total View was founded in 2024 by the artist trio Ferdinand Doblhammer, Ulrich Formann and the Futile Corporation to develop new digital methods for investigating state repression and forced cultural assimilation.
The collective functions as an interdisciplinary hub for exchange between artists, journalists and researchers. Total View collaborates with institutions such as the University of Vienna and the University of Applied Arts Vienna.
