We try to keep you up to date with all the information about the festival, but just in case we missed something, here are recently asked questions from our beloved community – you. If you have more questions or couldn’t find the answer you were looking for, please contact us!.
What is included in my Festival Ticket?
With your ticket you will have full exclusive access to:
– 2 days Festival program
– 40+ speakers on 3 stages
– Expo Area & Side Events
Your ticket includes:
– Lots of inspiration & exchange
– Meeting other international & local creatives
– Goodie Bag & Print Magazine
When does the Festival start?
On both Festival days, stage program will start around 3.30pm, with Check in starting at 1.30pm (possible all day from that time on). For more info, like workshop timeslots etc please check out the soon to be announced timetable.
How can I register for Workshops & Side-Events?
Together with some of our speakers, we are offering special exclusive hands-on Workshops and side-events that you can join when attending the Festival. As soon as they’re announced, you can find more info here. You will need to book your seat separately via our ticket shop. Should a workshop already be sold out, feel free to contact us via email to register for the waiting list.
The ticket shop is not working for me, what should I do?
If, for any reason, your purchase at the online shop was not successful or you want to purchase a bigger amount of tickets at once, just send us an e-mail to email@example.com and we’ll get back to you shortly.
Where is the venue located?
HKW Berlin, Haus der Kulturen der Welt, is located in the Tiergarten park, and directly neighbors the Carillon and the new German Chancellery.
It can be reached via multiple connections and even by boat: S+U Hauptbahnhof – Main Station, S+U Brandenburger Tor, via Bus 100 or via boat station Haus der Kulturen der Welt.
Is there food and drinks available at the venue?
There will be a variety of food and drinks available at the venue. Card is accepted but please bring some cash just in case.
Do I need to register for the Tutorial Stage?
No, but seats are limited and the rule first come first serve applies all Festival long, so make sure to come in time and check the Timetable to not miss a Tutorial.
Do I need to bring anything with me for Workshops or Tutorials?
For the Workshops we will send you an extra email with all the important informations, so make sure to check your emails (also the Spam Folder).
To get the most out of the Tutorial Stage we suggest to bring your Laptop/Tablet or Phone and a Charger to fully profit from it.
Am I allowed to attend the Festival Parties without a Ticket?
Are there volunteer opportunities at Forward Festival?
Yes, there are. Just send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org with your contact details, CV and availability around the Festival dates. We’re always looking for some extra helping hands!
