JOYH
ARCHITECTURE (AUT) JOYH is a design studio which focuses on the intersection of materials innovation, design and architectural research.

Joyh is a building technology startup 3D printing facades from sand, founded by Jade Bailey and Oliver Thomas Hamedinger.
The studio is rooted in architectural design, where the founders have been exploring how creative practice can build digital literacy through the lens of architecture, fabrication and the built environment. Using it as a tool to reveal hidden systems and concepts.
Their projects often translate complex digital processes into engaging narratives, material experiments, and design stories that demonstrate how technology can and will shape the spaces we live in. Rather than presenting technology as something abstract or purely technical, they approach it as a device that can be engaged with critically, used creatively, and shaped consciously.
Joyh has exhibited and spoken at Ars Electronica Festival, Vienna Design Week, Dubai Design Week and Lake Como Design Festival.
This part of the program is a collaboration with Vienna Business Agency.
