Alexa Sirbu is a London-based artist, director and co-founder of XK Studio. She approaches design, procedural and simulation tools as a sculptural medium - bending its logic to serve emotion, meaning, and a deeply personal visual rhythm. As an artist and through her studio, she has created and directed work that ranges from artistic commissions to global campaigns, films and large scale video installations. Clients and collaborators include Apple, Nike, Issey Miyake, Hermes, Sophie, London Symphony Orchestra, amongst others.
Alexa shares her journey from 3D artist to co-founding XK Studio, reflecting on how her visual language took shape through experimentation and a persistent drive to push against the expected paths.
