“Is this a compact car or a magician?” – a fair question when the Alfa Romeo Junior Elettrica fits oversized luggage, delivers a smooth yet powerful ride, and silently glides through city streets. Anna Ullrich, an Austrian DJ and producer, took her friends and the silent, elegant Junior Elettrica on an adventurous ride through the vineyards of Wachau.
Early on a Saturday morning, bags were packed – slightly overpacked, to be precise – yet everything fit effortlessly into the surprisingly spacious trunk of the Alfa Romeo Junior Elettrica. With Sommernacht by Anna Ullrich blasting on repeat, the drive through the city was smooth and quiet – so much so that a pedestrian balancing two coffees almost jumped in surprise. “I didn’t even hear you coming!” she laughed. Silent, but with plenty of power.
A visit to a biodynamic vineyard in the Wachau led to curious glances from vintage Alfa enthusiasts. “An electric Alfa? Never seen one!” The answer? “Brand new. Same spirit, just quieter.” Performance meets innovation without losing that signature Alfa feeling.
The weekend’s energy was perfectly captured by photographer and artist Maša Stanić, who also spoke at Forward Festival Berlin in 2022. Her images bring Silent Elegance to life – showcasing how technology, aesthetics, and adventure seamlessly blend. The result? A road trip that was as effortless as it was unforgettable.
