PRESS FORWARD #62 BY SO ME

Forward Magazine brings you a selection of musical gems hand-picked by friends, musicians, speakers of the Forward Festival, and many more. This 62nd edition is curated by So Me.

So Me, whose real name is Bertrand de Langeron, is a Paris-based graphic designer and illustrator, sometimes a photographer, director, or musician. His work is unified by a bold, colorful, immediately recognizable visual language.

Creative director of Ed Banger Records since its creation, he has worked closely with Pedro Winter (aka Busy P), the label’s founder.
From the label’s earliest days, So Me defined its imagery through iconic album covers for artists such as Justice, DJ Mehdi, and Sebastian, while pursuing freelance illustration work internationally.

He has also directed a series of music videos for artists including Justice, Kanye West, Kid Cudi, MGMT, Major Lazer, and Pusha T, some of which have received MTV Awards and other distinctions.
