It’s the time of the year were you come together with your friends and family to celebrate. That’s why we want to invite you to our Christmas party! Adobe Creative Residency Night

 

 

The Adobe Creative Residency goes into the next round. On December 5, photo artist Amelie Satzger, UX designer Patricia Reiners and Adobe Community Manager Franziska Parschau will answer all questions about the program and the application. Amelie and Patricia give us inspiring insights into their creative work. Creative residents will receive financial support from Adobe for a year and, in addition to Adobe’s market-leading creative tools and resources, will be supported by mentors from a variety of backgrounds.

Bugholz, Vielschichtig 2019

 

 

On the occasion of the 200th anniversary of the Thonet company, MAK presents a large exhibition on modern furniture, in which the characteristic bentwood furniture of the world-famous company is placed in the context of contemporary technological, typological, aesthetic and historical developments. Thonet bentwood chairs will be confronted with tubular steel and plastic chairs as well as classic office chairs and avant-garde furniture experiments.

Conservation for Innovation: Fernando Laposse

 

Can we invent something new by preserving and can forgotten approaches be an inspiration for our future? A series of lectures will present a number of topics: Methods of existence, production, action and information with a focus on how good ideas from the past can be translated into solutions for a meaningful and sustainable way of life. International guests will give inspiring examples.
