Bureau Betak convinces once again with outstanding set designs for Dior and Jacquemus
Where to start when talking about the legendary Bureau Betak?
The Bureau Betak studio dedicated to the production of high-end fashion shows, exhibitions, and spectacular events has studios in New York, Shanghai, and Paris and gave rise to over 1000 events with which it located itself at the top of the list of production agencies in the world of luxury, fashion, and events. Fashion houses like Dior, Yves Saint Laurent, Kenzo, Viktor & Rolf, etc., trust the revolutionary mind of Alexandre de Betak, the Bureau’s director, in composing the perfect setting, which is a piece of art in itself, to present their latest collections.
Last week Dior Cruise Show SS2021 was taking place in Lecce, Italy. An incredible show, celebrating the local culture and craftsmanship which was incorporated in the collection, the runway design, and the whole performance. The absence of the audience probably even underlined the mystic touch of the show, which was directed by Maria Grazia Chiuri, Dior’s current creative director, that definitely gave us Goosebumps. The Set Designers of Bureau Betak created this marvelous show in cooperation with Lecce-based illumination studio Fratelli Parisi and the artist Marinella Senator.
Another Fashion Show, with an audience situation that was adapted to the current circumstances, but not any less captivating, was the presentation of Jacquemus’ SS21 collection. The event, which was a continuation of the brand’s series of runway shows in nature, like the infamous lavender field runway that went viral last year, was able to convince the audience with a 600m long runway through Vexin National Park outside of Paris that was not only an aesthetic 10/10 but also found a clever way to incorporate the COVID Safety Measures in the show’s settings by placing the audience in the Wheatfield to separate them.
