The fourth edition of the Forward Exchange Program is here and we are very excited to invite you to it! Join other creatives and get free Livestream access to our Festivals and masterclasses in Hamburg and Vienna, hybrid studio visits, exchange of experiences with experts & more!

 

This year’s spotlight will be on “Design & Film”. Together we will focus on questions like: How are technologies changing the classic design areas in the medium of film? What role do technologies such as VR / AR, VFX, or animation play in this process? How are these questions taken up and tackled in the Hamburg scene?

 

Summer in Hamburg – Fall in Vienna

 

The Forward Exchange Program connects the two festivals and provides inspiration and exchange in a hybrid way – between Hamburg and Vienna as well as between the digital and analog realms. This offer is aimed at creative professionals from the two cities working in the fields of design, communication, multimedia, film industry and architecture, who deal with the interfaces of “Design & Film” in their work and are looking for new impulses for their work.

    The Forward Exchange Program will take place on July 1st and 2nd in Hamburg and on October 8th and 9th in Vienna.
    July 1st to July 2nd mornings: Masterclass and studio visits
    July 1 to July 2 in the afternoon: Digital visit to the Forward Festival Hamburg
    July 2nd: Digital round-up via zoom for further networking

    October 8th: Masterclass
    October 8th to October 9th: Digital visit to the Forward Festival Vienna

    Apply online for participation in the Forward Exchange Program – Hamburg x Vienna from March 19 to June 15, 2021! The selection takes place via a competitive process. Up to 10 online accesses are granted per city.
