Form Play’s work draws on hand-crafted simplicity, paired with a fondness for humour, misfortune and quiet observation. Working mostly in short-form 2D, they create micro-stories with emotional resonance and restraint. In a world full of noise, it’s often levity and emotional connection that earn real attention — an approach that’s led to collaborations with Google, YouTube, Comedy Central and Sephora, as well as challengers developing a distinct visual brand voice.
In this talk, Form Play explores how analogue instincts, digital tools and a spirit of play help them create character-led work that connects. They’ll share how they’ve built a process that turns creative constraint into strength, emotion into strategy, and humour into a storytelling advantage — revealing why drawing remains one of their most powerful tools.
