Blickfang Vienna
Blickfang supports up-and-coming talents as well as established design labels by offering them a platform to connect with design lovers. The three-day design shopping event is an opportunity for individualists who appreciate real encounters, real emotions and new inspirations. The design fair takes place in six cities this fall, among others at MAK Vienna, the Museum for Applied Arts.

Adobe MAX Creativity Conference
The Adobe MAX Creativity Conference is an extraordinary virtual experience to find inspiration, connect with creatives from around the world, and learn the best ways to bring new ideas to life. With the goal to connect speakers and Adobe product experts with their users, this two day online event is free of charge for Adobe Creative Cloud users.

Forward Festival Vienna
After successful online and hybrid events, Forward is coming back in full blast to Gartenbaukino with a two day program on October 7-8, 2021! Next to graphic design legend Stefan Sagmeister, we will welcome national and international heavyweights in the creative industries, like Wes Anderson’s film graphic designer Annie Atkins, photographer Martin Parr, visualist Sarah Illenberger, Outfluencer Mashi and many more on our stage! Along with interactive workshops, networking side-events and happenings, Forward Festival will light a firework of creativity in the brilliance of the newly restored Gartenbaukino.

Vienna Design Week
The Vienna Design Week is Austria’s largest curated design festival. Since 2007, it has hosted around 200 events with 40,000 visitors to show that Vienna is a “City full of Design”! The focus of the VIENNA DESIGN WEEK is on the diverse creative output that makes up the qualities of the local design scene: product, furniture and industrial design, architecture, graphic and social design, as well as experimental and digital approaches. The festival works specifically to network local potential internationally, which is also reflected in the program.

Viennale 2021
The Viennale is Austria’s largest international film event and at the same time one of the most accentuated and quality film festivals in the European context. In a kind of lively, cultural state of emergency, the Viennale presents a cinematic voyage of discovery through the cinema of the world. In its annual program, the Viennale shows an accentuated selection of new cinematic works from all countries, national, partly international premieres, throughout examples of a lively cinematography of aesthetic obstinacy and political topicality.

Venice Design Week
Venice Design Week is a festival dedicated to design held in the city of Venice, every October since 2010. For a week, the lagoon of Venice comes to live with exhibitions, conferences and meetings, competitions, workshops and guided tours that take place in a unique setting, full of history and contemporaneity, in a continuous exchange between cultures meeting and confronting each other. VDW is a widespread event, in symbiosis with the city that hosts it, and that winds its way through calli and campielli, private galleries and museums, homes and artists’ studios, stores and workshops.

Dutch Design Week
In October of each year, Dutch Design Week takes place in Eindhoven. The biggest design event in Northern Europe presents work and ideas of more than 2600 designers to more than 350,000 visitors from home and abroad. In more than 110 locations across the city, DDW organizes and facilitates exhibitions, lectures, prize ceremonies, networking events, debates and festivities with an emphasis on experiment, innovation and developing young talent.
