Online Open Atelier Day

Atelier Karasinski invites to a private and personal studio tour incl. impulse lecture about the criteria of a good workspace (from colors to scents) and its internal design processes. In a small setting, Laura Karasinski will guide guests through the new premises in Josefstadt and explain the meaning and purpose behind specially designed furniture and processes. Using practical examples, Team Karasinski will talk about the importance of close collaboration in a relatively young design office, smaller and larger challenges, and what makes a good working atmosphere (internally and externally). This will be followed by a personal Q&A session where open points can be clarified.

100 Sächsische Grafiken — STÖRENFRIEDE

The 13th edition of the Biennale of Saxon Printmaking shows works by 78 artists – rooted in the Saxon region – selected by a jury of experts.

In the print works, viewers encounter troublemakers in a variety of ways. On the one hand, concrete narrative perspectives as well as symbolic representations are shown; on the other hand, we encounter the troublemakers as a convincing examination of order or its disruption on an abstract formal level. Characteristic is the continuation of the trend towards large-format, colorful works, not infrequently as unique pieces.
